What is atrophic vaginitis?
Atrophic vaginitis is a condition characterized by thinning of the vaginal walls and decreased lubrication, resulting in increased vaginal dryness and inflammation.
It is primarily caused by a decrease in estrogen, the main female sex hormone. It is a very common problem in women going through menopause (50% of women affected by menopause suffer from vaginal atrophy), affecting both their sexual function and their quality of life. Symptoms can persist for years unless appropriate measures are taken.
The reasons are diverse and may have their origin in small sequelae of infections, in atypical morphology, congenital malformations or, simply, in the apprehension of penetration.
Vaginal atrophy is a more common problem than is commonly believed, affecting women of all ages, although it is more common in women after childbirth or during breastfeeding. However, the highest number of cases are detected in postmenopausal women, affecting one in two.

Vaginismus is a vaginal constriction of the pelvic floor that causes discomfort, burning, pain, penetration problems, or a complete inability to have intercourse.
Vaginismus is a common cause of ongoing sexual pain. It can affect women at all stages of life, even women who have had sex comfortably for years.
When a man attempts intercourse with a woman, the pelvic floor muscle group goes into spasm and tightens, closing the vaginal entrance, making intercourse impossible and painful. This type of vaginismus makes penetration impossible.
In other cases of vaginismus, penetration may be possible, but the woman experiences periods of involuntary contractions that cause burning, discomfort, or pain.

Solution
The INTIMICHIC silicone dilator allows you to exercise and progressively dilate the vaginal canal. At the same time, through small daily exercises, it helps you overcome your fear of penetration. INTIMICHIC DILATOR should be used with a water-based lubricant to facilitate the exercises and at the same time lubricate and hydrate the vaginal mucous membranes.
How do you use INTIMICHIC DILATOR?
It involves first applying a little water-based lubricant to the entrance of the vagina (approximately the volume of a chestnut) and gently massaging for 2 or 3 minutes.
Next, take the smaller INTIMICHIC DILATOR insert. Apply the same amount of lubricant to the tip.
Next, begin gently and gradually pushing it into the vagina. If you notice dryness, you should add lubricant.
You can continue exercising for 10 to 15 minutes, making small back-and-forth movements. It's important to keep in mind that vaginal muscle contraction is adverse, so if it occurs, stop the exercise.
The goal is to relax the vaginal area and find the pleasure that accompanies it, so using a very comfortable place to perform the exercises and listening to soft music is recommended.
